Congrats on the purchase, looks great...did you decide if you're going to do anything with the headlights?

Thanks for all your gracious comments

Thanks for all your kind words. I traded in my recently purchased in January 2013 2LTRS to get this car. Let's not talk about the bath I took on that.

I am really in love with the way it drives. It is a 2Ss with the leather, gauges, mylink etc. It is not an RS. Only thing I may consider are the Halo lights.

Newb what is this 'RS Plate frame' you are talking about? I am unaware of it.

The dual mode exhaust is absolutely awesome.Makes the car more fun.

Also after seeing the flat black/grey hood I may leave it at least till I can peel it and have the center raised area painted flat black, or not.

That flat hood looks alot better than I thought it would.

Are SS emblem colors determined by the dealer? My Black 1LE 2SS RS has Red SS emblems on grill and trunk. Is the white overlay on Jim's 1LE from the dealer or is that what the 2SS non-RS comes with? No big deal, just curious. Congrats on the new ride, Jim. You will love it.

Non RS cars have white SS emblems, RS cars get red. Has nothing to do with being a 1SS or a 2SS.

There is no way you can tell a 1SS from a 2SS from the outside so unless you saw pics of the inside that I didn't, don't correct the OP on what he bought. I think you are confusing nonRS with 1SS.

And I always giggle a little when I see handicap placards in sports cars. I don't know but it seems contradictory. Lol. And please do not take any offense by that statement. It just makes me giggle for some reason.

Oh my god, did I ask a stupid question. You meant the license plate holder. Oyy, I just stuck it on from my traded in 2LTRS. Wow how stupid can I be.
That's probably why I have a handicap sticker. Actually it is for my wife who has some back issues, and I absolutely take no offense. My son is always up my butt for it. I think it's kind of cool. I take it down for Camaro meets.

It is absolutely a 2SS, but not an RS. On the SS models Gm differentiates RS from Non RS by the color of the SS emblem.

White is non-RS, red is RS

Well they also make handicap tags for motorcycles....

Our Camaro has a handicap tag, my wife has spinal stenosis and has major pain when walking.

Don't feel bad. We all have blonde moments... Lol. The NPP is even more amazing with long tube headers! Sounds like a beast!
