Good Price For Powder Coating Wheels?? Pic Request as Well
Hello, I was approached by a guy last night who had told me he owned a powder coating company and that he would powder coat my stock 20' wheels in black for $70 a peice so a total of $280 for all 4. Is that a good price?
Next request is does anyone happen to have a picture of an inferno orange SS with black pin stripes that happen to have black powder coated stock wheels? Thanks in advance. |

seems too cheap to me considering the wheels need to be media blasted and prepped to do them right. who is going to do all that for 100 a wheel? or less even. id have to wonder if they arent painting them.... i was quoted 140 a wheel which sounds right to me for a quality job. if they chip up your not gonna be happy

FWIW... several years back I had my C5 Corvette wheels powder coated (17", 18") for $200 total and they did a fabulous job. With inflation... price seems fair. I looked at finished products first. Don't trust photos. If you doubt their quality, tell them you want to see a finished product first.
