"The dress"

It took over social media I figure why not let it take over camaro 5. What color do you see white and gold or blue and black... I Understand the reasoning behind it but it doesn't make it any less creepy.

This is so weird. I had this thread open on my phone, when I initially looked it was white/gold. An hour later I went back to my phone and since this thread was the last thing I looked at it came up, and it was black and blue..

Mind = blown

This has to be some type of HTML gag. A buddy I was talking to said you can write code for a picture to change colors at any given time change. But right now, I see it as white and gold.

no it has to do with your eyes ability to balance the white, how you see color in sunlight.

this image has some weirdness in the background lighting that causes some people to not be able to correctly color focus on the foreground image of the dress.

initially I see the dress and white/gold, but if I stare at it for about a minutes it changes to blue/black as my eyes/brain start to correctly track the colors..

if I turn off the light in the room the dress is instantly blue also if I use my halogen desk lamp, however if I use the CCFL overhead lights it starts out gold/white and slowly turns to blue/black.

my wife and daughter only see blue/black, they never see the white/gold.

I've only seen it as black/blue until this post. As I'm scrolling down and only see the top half of the picture, it looks white/gold now. When I see the entire pictures, it's black/blue.

They have a video on youtube that does a good job at explaining why this happens.

All day I've seen it as white and gold, tried the turning on and off lights and couldn't see black and blue, just now came back to the thread and the white has tight a light blue hue but still more white than anything. I sort of get someone else looking at the picture and seeing a different color, but for me to see a different color looking at it from earlier blows my mind

Some dress a mother wore to her daughters wedding. Took a picture of it to send to someone and realized some people see the dress as gold and white others see black and blue. There is no "fake picture" it's just the way your eyes process color differently. Pretty interesting imo
