ZL1 Springs on a SS
How much will ZL1 springs lower a SS also will there be any problems using these springs ?

It is not a whole lot. About 1/2" in front and 3/4" in the rear. The ride a just a little more firm than the stock SS springs.

With mine, I lowered about 3/4" on all 4 corners. It's also just a little stiffer, but still forgiving for a daily driver.
