Could Use Some Help Understanding Data

Hello,

I have been doing some data logging with an SCT X4 on my SLP supercharged 2010 L99.

I attached a screenshot of a WOT pull in 3rd gear.

A couple things that I don't understand.

- The throttle position at idle shows around 18% and 86% at WOT. I can't push the pedal any harder... Is this something that others have seen?

- Trying to determine injector duty cycle but, when I log pulse width of the injectors, I end up with around 900 - 1000 ms. I highly doubt the injectors are open full second. Not sure how to log this correctly.

- Trying to determine boost psi by converting the kpa from MAP but, I a m only seeing 24kpa from the sensor. Lost here, too.

Does anyone have some insight into what I am doing wrong as far as logging these PIDS?

Thank you in advance.

TPS never goes past 86% this is full throttle and there is no additional air flow past this point of opening.

I have not figured out the injector duty cycle, it may have an extra digit not sure.

You must add Atmospheric pressure (typically 100) to your 23 Kpa so 123 Kpa or about 3.5 psi boost.

Ted.

GM only gives you 84%-86% TPS, I am told the reason is to give Ford's a chance

Thank you, Ted. If the pulse width does have an extra digit. It would suggest that the duty cycle is around 45% at 5500 rpm.

What level of HP will a 56# injector usually support? Basically, I am wondering that if I pin the crank pulley, add ZL1 pump, drop a pulley size and do LTs, will the injectors handle the increased air flow.

Thanks again

With custom tuning, proper fuel pump and control module the ZL-1 injectors can handle 505 RWHP on an L99 and 560 RWHP on an LS3 or about 8.5 psi boost then they are done.

Be happy to help you move to the next level with parts and custom remote tuning.

Ted.

HP Tuners has a PID called Commanded Throttle Actuator, which reads 0-100%, but if you log TPS simultaneously, you are right. TPS never goes over 84% on my car.

To please my brain I log both and just look at Commanded, lol

Not sure about SCT

Same PIDs are available in SCT.
