I got my 2011 SS 4 months ago and alreaddy has 11,000 miles on her, ouch. Most of this was out of state driving and taking it for test drives to get to know the flaws of this chassis handling wise. I am now looking for a beater that also has good grip in the winter to stop from killing my Camaro SS.

i just bought a 98 f-150 for my DD (ss used to be my DD) only has 81k miles. 4.6 v8 sucks gas like a mother but at least the camaro can stay in the garage when it rains.

I took 101BABY to the local ford dealer the other day. When I pulled in the vultures started to attack me when I started to look at the mustangs they had on the lot. One young punk spoke up and said... "So, I see you decided to to get a 'real' car."

Well that little pLick had a smirk on his face while he said it so I told him... "Other than mine, there aren't any 'real cars' here! I was looking for a beater to drive in crappy weather!"

It was great seeing him without anything to say!

From what I have read and heard the Mustang GT 5.0 2011 only has an engine to brag about, I drove 2 and they aren't that great as people and media makes them to be then I drove my L99 and I was blown away, that's why I got it. Those mustangs don't feel as fast as people say they do honest, and they don't have this ultra rigid chassis like our camaros.

I actually just test drove one this weekend because I was bored. The engine was nice but the interior was so cheap it felt like I was driving a Ford Focus. Even with the 5.0 engine it would be a downgrade from any Camaro SS. All you need is a set of long tubes and you'll leave the new mustang behind (where it belongs).

I have a set of Dynatechs waiting to go in when I get some spare cash. Later i am planing on Livernois AFM,DOD delete and cam package. I actually got smoked this weekend by a 2011gt . Looks like he had a bunch done, headers, intake, 4.10s.
