well got the chance to work on my engine bay alittle today, got a few spots smoothed out that really needed it badly, and layed my last coats of primer down and wet sanded it with 600 then 800 grit, should be really smooth and not show any sanding scratches, its now ready for the cobalt blue, later today, cant wait to finally see some blue pant on my baby.

got to work on my baby again tonight so i decide i might as well paint my door jams,so i sanded them all down with 600 then 800 wet sanding, and layed 3 coats of cbalt blue metallic then 2 coats of clearcoat,so now i can move onto my hood and fenders also need to be sanded and sprayed cobalt blue metallic,i will be dropping my engine in this week if everything goes as planned.and i can find a good 4 speed tranny for the right price.if not im just gonna go with a 350 turbo for now and collect all the parts for my tko 600 swap.

Looking good. Cant wait to see the power plant. 350 turbo tranny is a work horse. Ive had one in my 68 for about 15 years. Still going strong.

yeah them 350 turbos sre pretty tough probably the best tranny choice seein im making alot of power, dont think the 4 speeds would handle it well.
