Teasers as we close in on finishing the passenger side turbo manifold....

That's a lot of metal in a small spot... This is the first in place fit of the manifold with the turbo attached.

We will pull it down several times to get it all fit perfectly.... It's dammit close in some spots so some clearancing will take place. Some of it was done right after these pic's were taken.

I'll have more as we progress... We still have to fit the wastegate and waste port tube, but according to Justin, "no problem."

Any concerns with the heat so close to the oil filter/pan? Blankets going on he turbos?

Not in this case... Note the hot side of the turbos is behind the front flange of the bell housing... Other than that, which is the only way to fit them without a ton of stuff hanging way below the frame, they are in the same basic location as the old turbos... They are probably less than three inches further forward... And when you get right down to it, there is no place under the hood that doesn't get scalding hot with the power we're pushing... These turbos can pretty easily push us over the 2 grand hp mark...There is/has been some discussion lately of fuel pump options...
