How was your process with taking delivery? I know experiences are going to differ from dealer to dealer but is there anything you can suggest for the rest of us? There have been a few threads, one by Camaro Scotty, and another by someone else who's had experience with taking delivery on a brand new car on certain things to watch out for, certain things you might not want your dealer to do (wash and wax it, put license plate on, etc) But after taking delivery yourself is there anything you did in particular? Anything else to watch out for that know one else thought of? I know a lot of people are anxious to take delivery and want everything to go as smoothly as possible, anything you can suggest would be appreciated.

My dealer was very good about everything.

I did finally ask them to wash it after they promised to use brand new Shammy and towels... They did a very good job too. I wouldn't worry about asking them to detail it if I were you...it was flawless for me. Each dealership is different though...so use caution.

I would also get there as SOON as you can...people were already surrounding my car when I got there.

They took my credit card over the phone. It was at my house in under 30 minutes and I tipped the guy 10 dollars. He really seems appreciative. It was really hot and we also got a 2 litre of Coke with it. The neighbors wanted to have some so we shared.

I can't wait to get another one.
