I know the feeling but it's better to have the warranty than Not when it's needed.

Did you also buy a powertrain warranty for your SC upgrades?

I assume you got the bumper to bumper extended through GM?

Funny, I was just in the process of purchasing an extended warranty from Becky today. She is GREAT and came through again with a wonderful deal.

If you read this, thanks Becky, talk to you by the 10th!

Which warranty and how much did you get the extended for? I've been in the shop a few times as well.

I know how you feel. I loved my Solstice, but that was on the rare occassion that it was driveable in the 2 years I had it. Had to dump it before the warranty expired, since I did not buy the extended one. So far, the Camaro has been prefect in 22,000 miles.

Drive train was perfect, but everything else on the car broke. From the top, to cup holders to the A/C to the wheel studs, to broken door handles.

THR is twice the distance as my dealer but I have used their parts department without a hitch. I guess I need to find out their email and shamelessly start plugging them.
Good luck with the Sky. They are nice cars. We had 3 Solstices, and mine was the only problem child. 20,000 miles and the following:

Top alignment
Window alignment
Cup holders broke...3 times
Wheel studs breaking...10 day order time...special studs on the Solstice/Sky. Dealer said keep spares in the trunk.
Interior door handle broke on driver side. Sliced my hand open. 10 day order time. (just enough to heal)
Trunk mechanism broke, and it took 2 dealers to get it open. My stuff was inside
A/C broke on a 114 degree day
Overheating
Driver seat came loose.

Others but I forget. (mercifully)

What is the standard powertrain warranty on these things anyway? 3years/36k or is it longer?

Power train is 5 years 100,000 miles. You should have the warranty book that explains everything that is covered and for how long.
