Looking for a more aggressive exhaust sound

My wife & I are in total agreement that, although my Camaro currently sounds good, we both think it needs a little more aggressive sound and, for my birthday next month, she wants me to make it happen. Don't want to completely redo my exhaust and I currently have the Flowmaster Force II axel back exhaust, I also have the K&N CAI. What I'm thinking is that replacing the OEM resonator & H-pipe with an X-pipe will give me what we're looking for. In the past I've seen several posts where people have gone this route and would like to get some feedback. For those that have gone this route, here's what I'm looking for:

1. Are you satisfied with the improved sound?
2. Did you also install an axel or cat back system?
3. Did you make any other mods to your exhaust?
4. On an estimated %, how much loader then stock is it?
5. Is drone an issue to be concerned with?

Also, I'm looking at the JEGs HP X-Pipe, but am open to suggestions/recommendations.

Thanks

Chief, my set up gets TONS of compliments. If you want to pm me your cell number I’ll send you sound clips of just K&N intake, intake with the cat back and x pipe and then CAI intake, long tube headers, high flow cats and the cat back with x. Losing the resonator did wonders even before the headers.

Thanks & thank you for your service. Sounds like you have you exactly what I'm looking for … PM being sent

I said I'd never buy a Cat back because it wouldn't add power and the cost but I couldn't pass up this deal.

Interesting, but it looks like they eliminated the H-pipe , but still implement a resonator, although it be a little shorter. How's the sound?

They call that a resonated x pipe. I have catless headers so with stock manifolds it may be to quiet for you.

x-pipe wont make it any louder. You have to ditch the cats. Mine is on the verge of being too quiet for me.

Solo pro cat back, High Flow cats. No headers. As the years go on this is boarding on too loud. I leave for work at 430 am daily and I have to start my car and go as quickly as possible.
It sounds great for sure and added power but its right there on the line for me of getting a tad too loud. As long as it doesn't get any louder (which it shouldn't now) I will stick with it.
