Has anybody tried this stuff?

I figured, if they can do wax as well as they do their usual Armor All, it would be a decent wax.

I tried it on one small section.

Almost unused bottle for sale, cheap.

I'm also wondering how this stuff works. Very skeptical of the Armor All brand.

Thats funny, I did notice that, in fact told my wife the same thing sitting on the couch the other night!!!

In all honesty, I would have rather watched them beat the hell out of a mustang then a camaro!!! Not to mention the commercials credibility is gone since they were switching cars through the whole thing!

Wax can't beat a good polymer polish. Layering is where it's at.

Armorall?? I hesitate to put it on the plastic parts on my car, much less the paint. Bleh.

I read somewhere that the reason it went from the SS to start then the V6 was because they wrecked one of the two so they had to switch...how valid is that? Not sure...but seems plausible.

O.k. while on the subject of Armor all what is the best stuff to use?
I use armor all on my interior leather and on the dash and doors and it looks great. I wash with something totally different. So whats the best?

Any real detailer will tell you that it's all in the prep work. Meguiars is a good all-around product for the masses that's readily available. Their soaps are real good (Gold Class and Ultimate Wash and Wax). But even they aren't immune to crappy products (Speed Detailer was horrible). Here's a pic of just a wipe-down with Meguiars Ultimate Detailer:

But again, prior prep work is everything. (btw, my red truck was all swirls when I bought it used and I did everything by hand.)

Clay bar
Scratch-X 2.0
NXT Wax 2.0/(Ultimate Quik wax in-between)
Ultimate Detailer

And yes, sometimes I'm lazy and just use Eagle One Wax As U Dry and it still looks just as good. All in the prep work!
