Get a used SS, that Bette will only depreciate. Plus the used SS will give more power

I cant see possibly how financing a 11 year old car will lower your payments.
This might help with your decision. It was one of mine when In had my 2002 Z06. Go ahead and price a tire change! Need them run flats! Awesome car but not very practical if your trying to be financially responsible. Best of luck in whatever you do!

Both cars will depreciate. The small amount of increased power will be so trumped by a massive improvement in handling. I remember reading a story where the C5 ZO6's would beat a C6 on the track (not a C6 ZO6). I do agree with all the "not a very financially responsible" comments about the Vette (or as you call them Bettes.....just kidding).

check out the Vette forum for your own information:http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-general. Know what you are getting and what you are getting into.
Price for the Vette in question is reasonable. |

Yea but not slamming the panel to the ground to come back. His point was that those were hard miles ie drag strip. Coming back isn't hard miles. Or do you come back with wide open throttle? Either im just busting balls, no hard feelings.

More power, not more speed. The 405HP Z06 will be faster than a Camaro SS.

I don't have buyers remorse, I enjoy my camaro but I'm afraid that I might need to trade it in for a cheaper car because I'm in between jobs. Although I am in the interview process for the local police department (Psychological exam Friday) I rather prepare for the worst now.

Wait! You have a 2014 Camaro and you want to trade it for an 11 year old car?
Why did you buy a Camaro in the first place? |

They must be because your math sucks. Every 1/4 mile pass puts about 1.5 miles on my car. So. 88,000 passes would be about 132,000 miles. Have you ever been to a drag strip?

You do what makes you happy. But I'm always confused by people trading in a car that new. I mean in general you just lose so much money on it since usually the depreciation of a new car is so front end loaded.
C5 Z06 is a cool car though.

I do commend you for preparing for the worse because if I had to guess....the Psychological exam this Friday is probably not going to go so well. |

I like the vet. I'm looking for a z06 myself. 2004. The camaro is nice but love the way the z06 feels and drives.
