Almost ready to buy, price research
Hey all,
I've been reading the forum for a while but this is my first post. I've been saving up, and I'm almost ready to buy, probably a month or two left. I've been doing some pricing research on my own, but I wanted to see what you guys have been seeing in the market. Here's what I am looking at: 2011 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS/RS Imperial Blue Metallic Automatic Transmission Stripe Package Market Price: $35,500.00 I'm wondering if this price point sounds about right. Also, I was wondering about order time. Most of what I've seen on here lately looks like about a 1 - 1 1/2 months for delivery. Has anyone ordered recently? What kind of timeframe were you quoted? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, everyone. Last edited by BlueDragonVT; 02-10-2011 at 01:44 PM. |

Sounds on the low side - I am thinking with an Auto Tranny - you are looking at $38-39K, ~$42K after tax, license and fees.
Everyone I have talked to is quoting an 8 week lead time :( |

Price it up on Chevys web site, looks like you want my car and that listed for $38510. I also have the polished wheels. My order took 12 weeks, but the dealer didn't have allocation and never told me.

Guys,
Thanks for your input. I just pulled the trigger, and now I just have to wait for her to be built. Here's the result: 2011 2SS/RS Imperial Blue Metallic Automatic Transmission Polished Wheels MSRP: $38,100.00 Negotiated Price: $35,250 I hope this is helpful for anyone else looking to purchase soon. They may try and tell you that there are no current discounts or incentives on these cars, but that does not mean that they are not willing to negotiate. Thanks again to everyone on C5 for all your help! Pics in about 6 weeks when she comes in! Last edited by BlueDragonVT; 03-17-2011 at 10:30 PM. |
