Hello everyone, I'm off to Las Vegas as I'm doing the Rookie Qualifying course at Speed Vegas. FYI, the Silver State Classic requires rookies to attend training beforehand.
As things turned out I had the time off and thought "why not go to LV now and get it done?"
Anyone else do this course or planning on doing so?

Did it last year with a friend of mine riding shotgun. Was a great trip, met lots of really cool car folks and saw some awesome cars. For me, it was a one time thing, as I can race locally for a lot less $$. Enjoy though, it's a very entertaining time and the folks in Ely are awesome!

Not to get off topic, but what do you do in that area? I will be moving to that area in less than 2 weeks (Luke AFB). I've been looking at NASA.

I joined the local NASA group last year, and have run HPDE's with them. Awesome bunch of guys and gals, very friendly and helpful. They run several tracks in the Phoenix area, south to Indy Motorsports, and west to California. Haven't gotten out as much as I'd like, but for the $$, it's a great bang for the buck IMO. I live in the East Valley (Gilbert/Chandler area).

You will have a blast, here's my start from May. We were lucky enough to be the opener for the Silverstate challenge, and as we were the 1st to start the new inaugural 155 MPH class i found it only fitting to let the tires lose traction

There will be a few Camaro's this time in May, Barry should be going as well he has a beautiful Z/28
