remote start questions?

Everysince i got my headers installed my remote start isnt working is it due to the fact that the engine light is on and it realizies that and wont start because of it?

Right, the remote start is disabled any time you have a malfunction indicator active. Have it taken care of and it will work again.

remote start questions?

Remote start will not work if you have your hazards active as well.

Did you get it tuned after the headers were installed? They'll tune it to the headers and take care of that. (I believe)

Palmers right.....you need to get a tune....I was a little shocked at first when the remote start wouldn't work while waiting to get the car up to the shop for a tune.


especially when my CEL wouldn't stay on......every few days it would turn off for a couple days..... just after the header install I remote started the car just to hear the exhaust change...then on the way home, the light came on and the next morning obviously remote start didn't work....I was like... WTF?

when they tune to the car to run properly with the headers they will turn off the rear o2s so you will not get the light again.
