Cheapest mods to run 10.9's ?
Tryingg to see what would be the easiest/cheapest way to run 10.9's in my 2012 ZL1 without n20. Right now I'm thinking 2.55 upper, meth injection, and tune should get me damn close. Any thoughts?

Auto or manual? Easier to break into the 10's with an auto, of course...

I started with the JRE 75 package and I now have the
125 package plus DSX aux pump, flex sensor and 23% pulley. All tuned by Ted. First time I went to the track I ran a 10.8 at 131. With a little better 60' time I think I could run 10.5-10.6. I have an auto. |

We have several customers running in the deep 10s with our stage 2 700HP ZL1 package. There are a ton of ways of getting there but the bullet points would be pulley, injectors, headers, intake and enough tire to get you there. Give us a call and we can set up a discounted package that works for you.
Also, E85 is easy power if you have it around where you live. Only thing is upgrading the fuel system to handle it will add cost. |

It's an Auto. Buying a factory supercharged car that ran 11.9's out of the box I figured a rotofab, 2.5 pulley, meth and tire would be 10.9's. Guess it's not that easy lol.
A couple things I should add is I don't want the exhaust any louder. I always do exhaust mods and then my rear passengers hate the drone. The car stock has a perfect exhaust IMO. Noise wise that is. What is stock pulley size 2.85 or 2.95? I see both everywhere and it gets confusing. I would think a 2.55 pulley should be adding 60-70hp? That should have the car down in the 11.4 range. Add in the rotofab and that should be 11.3's. Then I would think methanol and tune would be right there knocking on 10.9's@ 126ish? Or am I asking to much from the pulley swap. Maybe the added boost is creating to much heat and not getting the full 60+hp? I'm just interested to see how I can run 10's with as little mods and $ as possible.

I have heard people say its good and bad so I'm not 100% sure either. If I was to do a 2.5 pulley whats the most cost friendly way to keep IAT's down?
