2012 SS vs 2002 SS (both modded) - Actual race took place
So, on a whim, we got invited to the track last Thursday by a friend and decided to go. It's the 8th mile and not a 1/4, so just keep that in mind.
I'm still convinced track conditions sucked since we ran worst that day than the very 1st time i had gone to the track and we ran 4 times; just couldn't hook up. I'm not going to bother putting the times in or anything because they all sucked for what we have. anyways, my husband is driving in this video, he recorded using his Google Glass; thought you all might enjoy. EDIT: Ok, since i guess the title will mislead, here are the times: and mind you, i admit first hand, they're bad for what we have. time in video below --------2002----2012 R/T:---0.402-----0.289 60': ---2.251-----2.303 330':---5.910-----5.765 1/8:----8.772-----8.518 MPH:---84.86-----90.37 Last edited by hiddenangels89; 04-14-2014 at 07:23 PM. |

I went 8.0 @ 89 mph on street tires in my ls1 auto on street tire with lcas, tune, 3.73s and a muffler. Both cars have a lot left in them. |

720P is damn good. Still there's cameras that dont do that. Only if it wasn't so pricey! I would love to own it.

Looks like you guys left traction control on. Was that 1500 rpm on street tires? That would also be an issue. If those are street tires tone it down to 1000 at most. But im no expert.

Nevermind, I saw you leave at 1k rpm but i would still turn it down a little. Saw traction control was disabled to do a burn out but it turned back on when you got to the tree?
