The rear blackout looks better than the others i've seen, is that painted on?

Yes, it is painted. We believe that is the cleanest way to do it. If you use a decal there are alot of gaps that you can see color through.

I agree...not a big fan of the vinyl blackouts. Mine are also painted (matte black), and it's one of my favorite mods.
