What I've been thinking about is painting the honeycomb in the air vents and dropping a dim LED in there... haven't figured out how yet...

I also never would have thought of the HUD control panel, or the center of the steering wheel Airbag.. I bet that thing sparkles in the sunlight. The speedometer bezel and the steering wheel bezel are next on my list to paint, but the thought of removing the Airbag scares the crap out of me!!

I also thought of painting the mesh around the door Speaker, but wasnt too sure if the vibrations over time would cause an adhesion failure.

You have a beautiful interior. Nicely done, and thanks for sharing your pic. It convinced me. I'll paint the tweeter when I paint my kick panels I just made. (Which I see, you have those too... haha.)
Sorry for the late reply! Glad I could help All I did was mask of the screen/mesh and paint the housing. Pretty simple. Just use your nails to outline and then cut with a utility knife. For the armrest panel, I did that while I was doing the interior trim on the door. The window controls come off.

The lighting controls and the airbag are actually overlays from carid.com I got awhile back. The airbag isn't nothing crazy. Just make sure that you have disconnected the battery and waited for 10min? I think. I wore my old HS football helmet just in case hahaha

Thanks for the compliment! I actually have added some red accents and new dash kit w deck so it looks a bit different. Haha, yep! A colored kick panel will make the doors look awesome. Have fun and take care!
