CAI CLEAN AND OIL KIT

So I was going to order the cleaning and recharge kit for my CAI . The price is fair at $14.50, but the freight is $12.00. Is there another place to buy it that doesn't charge that much freight ?
It's hard to believe the freight is that high ,it's a small package and doesn't weigh much at all . I suppose the K&N recharge kit I got for my truck wont work .

Go to autozone or anything like that and get the aerosol one.

Depending on what filter you have, the K&N might work.

I used a K&N kit on my Rotofab filter. Worked just fine. I think it was like $10 from Amazon.

CAI , claims you cant use anything but CAI brand cleaner and oil on their filter or you will ruin it . The problem I have is it is nuts to pay $15.00 freight on a small light package ,when the product is only $14.20 .

Not too sure they know what they are doing

So I get this email from CAI ,telling me I can order it with free freight with code SHIPONUS . But when I order it on line and enter to code it says not available with recharge kit . Someone over there at CAI isn't paying attention to the emails they send out . It is still in my cart and won't allow the code they sent.

Still deciding if you want to buy?

I just got done cleaning mine for the 15th time. Very easy to clean. When I clean mine I turn the lights out in the garage so it is pitch black. I hold a bright light on the inside of the filter. It helps me to see where the bugs and dirt particals are so I can use a low air pressure hose to blow the particals out, works great.

I spray it inside and outside with the cleaner let it sit 15 to 30 minutes. Then rinse it off in luke warm water with low pressure. Let it completely dry naturally do not use air compressor or hair dryer. Then oil it up and re-instal.
