Thinking about going on the ATAK...
right now running LT w/HF cats and a muffler delete is just a little too raspy for me. I'm wondering if adding some ATAk mufflers would fix that. Instead of having to shell out major $ for a cat/axle back system, What do you guys think?

It would help a bit. I would say maybe an S-type with headers though. If you decide, call us and I will work out a deal.

Yeah I concur the Borla S type. Will not be obnoxiously loud all the time and has a better tone than the ATAK personally. I just don't like how raw the ATAK systems sound. S-type for the win.

S type has more of a low growl while the ATAK still has that rasp when you go wot.

Atak is known for its rasp.
Someone here a while back showed a cool article from Borla, that their Arak system was designed without headers in mind. So when you add long tube headers, it definitely makes it raspy as hell. |

I would suggest the S type as well. You want to get rid of the raspy sound don't do the attack. Like others have said it will still have the rasp unlike the S type.

I got quoted $200 per side for a muffler delete today. It would include new pipe and end pieces, of course. Does that sound high?
