Man, who ever gets this beast will have a good time. This is bidding less than my new Honda CRV. Will keep an eye out for the deal of the century. Would love to have this in my garage. I would wrap this in plan jane silver and go racing on the weekend for some extra dough...

It will never sell ANYWHERE near the current bid. If bidding stays below 90k I'll bet it'll no sale.

Most interesting to me was the post in the comment section from Matt Bell who drove the thing professionally.

Special car, but not for the faint hearted and I don't mean from a driving perspective (although that too), but from a "cost to run per hour all things considered" aspect.

What amazed me was the number of "spares" included with the car. You would literally need a warehouse just to store the stuff, and at least a 53' reefer to haul it with,

It's awesome. Lots of work. The great thing is in the future we'll be seeing this monster running in historic / vintage races.

Last one went for 115k private sale. So, yes, youre on the money it wont be sold. Excellent car, id snap it up in a moment if it was viable for me to do so at this time. Love that (those) cars, been ip close to all 4 of them multiple times, got some hero cars, pics, and autographs as well (being a Z/28 fan boy well before I had a Z/28).

I agree

#1 on the Price since the the Black Dog cars are still out there at a Much Higher Price

#2 Cost to run per hour - if you have to think about it, you can't afford it. I have a friend that races in IMSA and Vintage. Some of his Vintage cars cost $10,000 per hour all things considered

Still two days left in the auction... It has slowly crawled up to $50k. I think we'll see a surge at the end to $125k.... I can still win the lottery before then!

I stumbled across this article today; it's from 2014. I believe it's the same car!
