stock exhaust

does anyone know if the stock exhaust on a zlk1 with work on a ss with the gm body kit on it

I’d love to know the answer to this question as well. Worth hanging on to the stock exhaust? Would anyone buy it for their SS for this purpose?

I bought my NPP off a ZL1 forum user. If you post it, I'm sure there will be someone that wants it. Related, though. It looks like GFX with NPP is it's own thing. On the 14/15 GFX with NPP, the diffuser looks like the ZL1 diffuser, but the 2012/13 version is obviously not compatible with NPP as it is. Maybe the NPP tips could be removed to work with it.

On another note, for those of that removed the stock exhaust anyone know if we need to do anything with the vacuum lines? Like plug them? Sorry I’m hijacking your post brother.

I would sure hope so. With the valves kept in the open position, the stock exhaust sounds as good or better than anything aftermarket, IMO.

I agree. I never even thought about buying a cat back or axle back system for my car. The NPP sounds amazing with headers.
