and, unless I'm missing something, it is designed differently in the sidemarker area.

Just saw this post and had to reply. A few years ago I bought a 2010 LS and all I've done to it is intake, exhaust, and a hurst, and a bunch of asthetic touches, most of which were cheap, many were DIYs. I've raced the car a couple of times and at the CamaroCross on Friday I put up the fastest stock V6 time. Its also won a Best of Show award earlier in the year. I'm not saying all this to brag, but just to show that you don't have to have a suped up SS or ZL1 to have fun, go fast, and turn heads. Oh yeah, its a daily driver (winter car, too), and it used to be stored outside. It was vandalized three times! Be proud of that machine! Post some pics! If you want advice on how to do a few things on the cheap, PM me sometime.

I wouldn't mind if the sidemarker area was normal like a factory fascia (since I already have the AAC sidemarkers), but I'm mostly concerned with the way the front looks and those particular fog lights
