They call them "Cup Wheels" and will be available in Satin Black (RUV) and "Machine Face" (Q5V). They'll be on the 2012 Z06 (with the F55 Mag Ride Cont or Z07)& ZR1 (with PDE Perf Pkg). Not sure if they'll be available as a stand-alone optional wheel on the Z06 & ZR1, or if you can only get them with one of the above opackages.

I don't believe they've released how much $ yet.

Looking at all the various angle's on the SSX wheel, I bet they are going to impress a lot of people in a machined or polished finish. I think the black is fine, but kinda mutes out the design. And this is a great design.

100% agree, or better yet, black on the outside, but leave the chrome on the inner part. Or maybe the reverse of that, black inside, chrome outside and leave the ZL1 to stand out in chrome.

I agree completely!

Actually, I think a metallic Competition Grey color would hit the perfect balance for those wheels.

Both sets of wheels were designed to offer limitless combinations of machined/coated finishes...that's my favorite part!

When do you guys think these will be available to order? I believe they will be priced similar to the Corvette cup wheel option but I can't find pricing. Has GM released thee prices?

I thought I heard GM released prices for the Corvette lineup which includes the Cup wheels (which are based on SSX Corvette...similar to SSX Camaro wheels). I can't find the prices though,. I figured the price of the Cup whees will be a good indicator to what the ZL1 wheels will be...or at least in the same ballpark.

Honestly, I hope Chevy doesn't offer the SSX wheels for the other trim models. Keeping them exclusive to the ZL1 would make them more special, unique, and distinguishable.

First - GREAT JOB GM DESIGN!!! I really liked the initial "chunky" style and only had a couple very small poopoos with them, much like earlier posts. Also, I was hoping for z design that showed off those beautiful calipers. Problem fixed! I agree tye new design seems to impart a more athletic stance and I ageee it gives it a different personality. I also agree about breaking up the black from the wheel to the tire. What I also like about the chunkies were how they were forged with "ZL1" in them. This is where I have a small problem with the SSX ones. Forge "ZL1" into the bead opposite the valve stem or something and machine or breakup the bead-to-tire interface and I'm sold.

KUDOS GM!!!

Agreed. something in the gunmetal, competition grey would be better because, A: they would stand out more and B: it would match the black/dark grey plastic on the rockers and front fascia.

"CAMARO" is cut into the inner "lip" of the wheel between two spokes.

Will that do?
