Not even ten min ago, Red ZL1 vert top down, goin up 410 into Bonney Lake. I gave a wave, but either my injured arm wave was pathetic or my unnoticeable silver Honda kept you from noticing me lol..... Damn thats a good looking ride !!

Still not sure about the carbon fiber. The hood is awesome, but the fenders, I might figure out how to mask off where the hockey sticks would normally go and paint the rest green, leaving the stripes exposed. Looks a little weird with the fenders like that to me. They're vented like the hood, and I painted the grilles green, but it looks a little distracting with the fenders a different color. I dunno if it can even be done like I described. :\
I checked with my painter; it would have to be blended into the neighboring panels, or it wouldn't look right. And if it didn't look right, I know you wouldn't be happy with it. I've known to many people who've gotten burned by bad paint jobs. I trust this guy, and I have no reservations about recommending him.

It's carbon fiber. I think it would be understood if it's slightly off. When I had my rear bumper cover painted, it's just ever-so-slightly off, but not so much that you really notice. Nobody has said anything, and it's dependent on the angle of view. It actually looks closer than some factory cars I've seen.

I'd kinda rather have the fenders painted off the car anyway so I don't have to be without the car for weeks or how ever long it would take. Not ready to fix my truck up yet. :\

No wave backs for about a year. What's up with our drivers? I see many Camaros on the road so I wave, honk, etc and I haven't had a response in about a year.
Sad times in my opinion. I miss driving down the road and seeing other Camaro owners waving, flashing, honking, etc, but for about a year I don't get a response anymore when I try.
Looks like from Tacoma to Seattle are non-members of this "group".

Not so here in Auburn! On Saturday afternoon I was north bound in East Valley Hwy and flashed my lights at Victory Red Camaro with a white hood strip that was south bound, and the driver waved back

I'm on Whidbey and wave all the time. Even at the same drivers who don't wave. I figure they might get it one day. Lol

Hello Guys and Gals. I am new to the PNW and the Camaro5 site but I am no stranger to Detroit Muscle. I have a few cars scattered across the country...1970 Mustang Fastback (Birmingham, AL), 2004 GTO (Las Vegas, NV) and most recently a 2012 Camaro SS (Seattle, WA).

I wave all the time too, but not from a camaro lol. We are a small percentage of people who give a rip. As you stated, there are alot on the road. At just under 80k per year average in sales thru 2013, some owners just don't get it as Gary would say ;-). I get the same reaction from many S2k owners. In 10 yrs of production, just under 67k were sold in the U.S., so its a rare car on top of being out of production since spring of 09. I'll keep waving and giving thumbs up to Camaros and S2000s!!

Sweet.. welcome!!!

What made you decide on the V6 front bumper with the ACS Ports instead of doing something with the V8 bumper?

I always wave when I see people..
