Injen CAI problems?

I just got my Injen CAI in the mail.... I have not installed it yet but I did go to my dealership to ask them about what will happen to the warranty if I was to put this part on my car. They told me that it would not void the warranty, but if the Injen CAI in anyway shape or form did any harm to my engine, they would not fix it. They also said they wouldn't even install it for me, but thats only because they are not very nice people. Anyway, I play on going ahead and putting it on my car, but for those of you who have this intake, has it caused any problems to your vehicle?

I have mine on order and as soon as I get it I will install it. A cold air intake won't give you any problems. The "stealership" trys to worry you about putting on aftermarket so you will buy their stuff. I wouldn't sweat it. Let me know how it goes and how you like it.

I paid extra money for 2 day shipping for mine so I would have it by friday because I have a dyno scheduled. Well thats not gonna happen. They said they hope to ship it out by NEXT friday. So I demanded a refund for the 2 day shipping since it was going to take 2 weeks to get anyway, and autoanything said they should be able to refund the extra I paid. So I will sit here and twiddle my thumbs and wait.

I have 350 miles on my car since the install with no codes/problems at all. You'll be very happy with the Injen CAI, I am very happy with it. You'll notice a significant difference........Let me know if you have any questions or issues with the intake.

Use the search button with INJEN in the thread title. You will find plenty of info about all your questions and install tips.

The girl on the left was there with her husband. He sat pretty close to the booth and kept an eye on everyone.

IMHO, you an keep both girls. Entirely way too skinny for me.

About the Injen CAI, like scrming, I've got several thousand miles on mine, driven through nasty rain with it and had the car serviced with it on. Not a single problem or issue with it. It's well put together and IMHO, well worth the money to buy it!
