P0106 and Stabilitrak :UPDATE:

Hey all, so I could use some ideas. I was stopped at a light yesterday, took off from the light and the car fell on it's face, "Service Stabilitrak" light up along with all the TCS lights. Idle was really rough like it was missing real bad. Luckily I was close to the house so I limped her home. I got on the forum and did some searching after i scanned the car and had P0106. Followed all recommendations I read about, still with no joy. So far I have:

Cleared the code
Removed plugs and checked for cracks in the porcelin (all good)
#1 plug was loose, reinstalled all plugs and tried to start, no joy. It turned over roughly but didnt start.
Removed MAP sensor to ensure the nipple/o-ring was still attached, all good. Can't get a new MAP until tuesday, any other suggestions in the mean time?

The engine only has about 21k on it and only 8k of that is after the cam install. Tuning was done at a shop with HP Tuners software. With all the plugs out the engine turns over by hand with no issues, its still tight and rotates freely.

I'd like to read out the MAP sensor but haven't been able to find values and/or proceedures for it.

I am at a loss until the new MAP arrives (i hope thats the issue)

Found a video and tested the MAP sensor. Here is what I found:

Grey wire - constant 5vdc, with key in the run position.
Orange wire - Ground, has good ground when connected to the + batt terminal.
Green wire - no readings, connection is good, key position didn't change.

With a probe hooked to the Grey wire and vacuum gauge attached to the MAP sensor, voltage did not drop. Indicating the sensor is bad?

I picked up a new MAP sensor from the dealer and threw it in last night. The car started up but is still running rough! Like it still has a misfire. Didnt have it running for long but it sounded like some abnormally loud valve train noise/ticking. Turned the car off and rechecked all the plugs/wires/fluids. All good. Tried to restart the car and it wouldnt start, im at a loss.

Next thing im gonna do is pop the valve covers and check the rockers, if thats all good then im going to the timing chain tensioner. Any ideas?

It could be the MAP sensor itself an intake manifold leak a dirty throttle body even a dirty air filter.

Or the cam you installed is too rowdy for a computer controlled vehicle.

The calibration on these cars is pretty tight meaning the parameters for throwing codes is small,

Take for instance my issue for the last month wound up being the rubber line to the PCV on my CAI was cracked and caused a miss fire and brake booster and stabilatrak codes.

Damn... had my 1le for 10 years now... it's cammed and has the LSA blower... I got it oil sprayed (undercoated), and the next day, it started running like shit... seems like it's misfiring. Changed the plugs, no good...
