need some help guys
so, a couple weeks ago while drive home for a cars and coffee event the car dies while driving. service stabilatrack and park assist, abs lights come on. I was able to coast into a parking lot. car restarts after a couple of tries. now while driving on the expressway doing 70 into a turn i hit a bump and all the lights come back for a second car stumbles bad and comes back to normal. so, I get the car home and when I hit the road gutter with the front driver wheel the car dies again and all the light come back. now I changed the front speed sensors thinking that those failed. but now the car dies instantly when I put it into reverse, and the service brake assist light come on. Not sure where to look. battery is good 1 year old. I was thinking wiring issue since it started doing it when I hit bumps. but now I'm not sure.
I have codes uo100 and uo101 communication issues.

Oh and i also have this going on wtf. I think Im blowing out the guts of the muffler.

i figured it out. it was the large 0 gauge ground wire that is on the side of the passenger head. the bolt backed out. that was easy. now what do i do with the muffler?

A lot of ZL1 mufflers were replaced while under warranty for blowing out the packing. I would cut it off and wait to see if it blows more and if so the sound might get too obnoxious.
A trick back in the day was to pack too loud mufflers with steel wool or better yet stainless steel wool to reduce the sound and less LEO attention/less tickets.

I’ll like to pass on paying $2k on an exhaust system, especially when Chevy did such a great job with the NPP system. Plus the car is loud enough lol

I happen to think the NPP is one of the better sounding exhausts out there for these cars and they look nice as well. Size wise they are fine as well. Glad you found your issue as my suggestion was going to be check your grounds. The packing was an issue and you can mod them like you stated, iv seen some posts on it and you tube videos. My Buddies brand new Ford pickup just did the same thing, He called me and said someone stuffed a hair weave in his exhaust while he was at the gym lol. I told him to come over and it was packing and not a weave.
