Putting together a Forgestar setup for the track

This will be on a 2013 ZL1 17x10 rear 18x5 front. I have billet axle shafts so this setup will be using bias ply aka wrinkle wall rear slicks. I'd like some anecdotal experiences on what you've used and why you think a particular tire maker/model is the best ever. Thanks in advance!
