The proper 17's yes, 15's none that I know of without other modifications.

Quick question and may be a dumb one but I have welds 17x10 S71’s wrapped in Mickey Thompson street S/S 305/45/17’s. My car is stock ride height and fitment is perfect. I am looking at lowering it 1 to 1.25 inches all the way around with BMR springs. Will I need to get aftermarket LCA’s to make everything fit with the car lowered or should I be fine? My car is a 2010 btw.

Has any tried the VMS 17x10 wheels? I’m looking to get to a drag set up for my ZL1 and was looking between those a racestars for now. Anyone know what offset we need also?

Do these cars need to be at stock ride height for a 17x10 wheel to work, or will a Bogart or Weld wheel fit when lowered?

Mines lowered on 17" Welds, some suspension work is recommend as it can be hard on the CV joints with much power and changing that angle.

Thanks for the info! do you have stock toe links, trailing arms, and control arms? Thanks for the reminder about the axle angles as well. Forgot I’ll need to include the offset diff bushings unless I want to raise it back up

I have BMR adjustable toe rods, LCAs(non adjustable), and all rear bushings. Offset bushings for sure help while lowered. I run an 11.4 @118 and 60' in 1.5 hope that all helps.

It does, thanks! I think I might need to raise the car up for them to fit correctly. I’ve got stock LCA’s, Spohn trailing arms, stock toe links and ZL1 sway bars. I think the control arms might rub being lowered

I might be wrong on this but think the stock LCA will not allow clearance for 17's lowered or not.

I have a 2014 SS/1LE. I've replaced the rear knuckles on my car with the OEM Z/28, not sure if that makes a difference or not. I also have the ZL1 rotors and CTSV 6 piston calipers on the front, so not sure if I can run smaller wheels here. Looking for recommendations for my current setup. I'm also over 500+ rwhp.

Looking at putting 17's on the rear for strictly drag racing. My car is stock I just want to grip better off the launch. Wont be using them for street at all I will be putting the stock rims and tires back on. Want to get some budget rims and tires. Not sure what tire sizes would be good ( 17x10 or 17x9.5 or whatever) also the width that will fit (275, 305, 315) any help would be great. ( New to racing) Got my camaro last year and love it! Also, the 17's will fit just by tying the cable back and nothing else?

17x10 / 305-45/17 DR or slick would be a good all around combo @CaliforniaSS.
