I am defiantly not a fan, I was looking forward to something new and more parts. But hey maybe now I'll see a little more resale value because I got the style everyone wants. I do kind of scratch my head wondering how they could mess up such a good thing.

Absolutely, I agree...and I'm sure they want that also...but as far as this forum and it's members' influence, the "enthusiasts" and/or "hard-core" enthusiasts, I believe count for a very small percentage of who they market these Camaros to...

Damn, whats up with that front end looks like a wannabe ZL1
and please lose that hood thingy, hex vents would have looked better. and the rear end, could of went with the european tail lights.

This reminds me of the mistake they made changing the 4th Gen front bumper from the LT1 to the LS1 style. That sunk sales even lower despite a superior engine. I think GM needs a new focus group or "disciples" for the Camaro, because this was just a stupid idea. Should have left it alone until the 6th Gen. Im officially concerned about the design of the 6th Gen now also.

This is my point, the items that are getting the most flack are items that are often changed anyways, to trash the car for items that are often changed or that are easily changed is going way overboard in my opinion.....

At least the hood thing (whatever is called) is functional! Unlike the mail sloth on the 10-13. I wonder if that hood thing will also only be a V8 thing?

I seriously doubt that tomorrow's official unveiling will change the minds of those that dislike the changes in the car. The images seen on the video on the other thread and the pictures posted have enough detail to discern the essence of where Chevy is going with the camaro. It's obvious that it was too early to even of had a refresh yet as sales are still strong...until this reveal. If sales drop, then people will say that GM went ahead too early in changing the "face" of the hottest selling car for the last 3 years. Needless to say, I am disappointed with this refresh.

The back of thing might give the Camaro refresh a run for it's money. It doesn't match the rest of the car in any way. The design dept ran out of CTS funds 1/2 through the car and just decided to use the ATS rear.

Well we all know with the quick refresh the Malibu is getting again next year that Chevy will have no hesitation to changing anything that does not go over. But since the 6th Gen is baring delays to debute as a 2016 model they may just let it ride until then
Think of it this way, it may be a design study on the direction the 6th Gen was going and if it flops its not too late to change it.

You nailed it brother. I've got a '09 CTS and can't wait to get my hands on a '14 CTS. Perfect timing for a trade.

You damn right. I love that car. I can even forgive the rear end which should have been a tad bit more aggressive, but really..that car freaking rocks.
