Yes, with paint....

seriously though, your dealer should be able to get the info for the paint code on those and you could get it touched up.

Did you take a huge chunk out of the wheel too? Have a pic?

It should be able to get repaired. Going to probably cost more than it should, but I'm sure it'll be cheaper than a new wheel.

This is another reason I'm afraid of buying a brand new car. I know they're meant to be driven, but small things on a brand new car are going to drive me up a wall.

I put the first scratch in my wifes '12 Malibu.....I raged

I know how you feel. An ex of mine curbed the front chrome 10-spoke on my '00 SS, looked horrible.

dealers have guys come in and do touch up on scratched up wheels all the time and you couldn't tell it was damaged. Before I sold it, had my M3 touched up and good as new, was done in 30 minutes and wheel stayed on the car.

Frank.... sorry to hear that. I have felt a couple blind spots that are taking some true concentration to get used to.

1) Oncoming traffic from the right rear side of the car. High degree of caution.

2) The curbs. Yes, the curbs. I have found, like when driving thru parking lots, drive thrus at restaurants, etc, the front right distance to the curbs can be deceiving. I imagine that is what you hit. I have found that from the drivers perspective, those curbs are awful hard to see (downright invisible!!)

I am looking to buy ROAD HAZARD insurance. NOT ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE. Some places offer the Road Hazard insurance. One place I priced was $399 full coverage for 3 yrs. I may just get some!

It was point 2, the parking lot is so narrow that you can't hardly see the curb and I litterly drive at 2 miles/hr everyday, but I missed it today:(
