It is Inferno Orange Metallic which is the only orange-like color offered on the 2010 Camaro.

This is not IOM. If this was the orange that was available I would have ordered it in a heart beat. Why do they tease us like this?

Hugger Orange would be my number 1 choice if it was offered. Cyber Grey and Imperial Blue are my second and third choices behind Hugger Orange if it were offered. Inferno Orange just looks red under most lightening conditions which I understand some people love that color on the Solstice as it has a following. People describe it as a burnt reddish orange. For me, when I look at orange I don't want to see any red. I want it to look like the orange I am holding in my hand at the grocery store.
So do carbuerators and 8-track players. Times have changed.

Hugger Orange is a bland, boring, flat yet iconic color.

I'm going to create a thread that pits hugger orange vs inferno orange metallic and we shall see how many people believe hugger orange is flat, dull and boring..

and here it is below..I will post two pictures that show examples of each color as well in the opening post.

OK... I already posted about this earlier but this is most likely TANGIER ORANGE. Tangier Orange is a factory chevrolet color that is what can be ordered on utility/ work / fleet vehicles etc. Its used as a "safty" color for vehicles that need to be seen, it would make sense that it is being used on a cutaway car. I do agree it looks awsome on this car, it would be my 1st choice.

TANGIER ORANGE is very similar to HUGGER ORANGE. I agree it would be my first choice as well if it were offered over IOM..

If that is tangier orange, it is a lot different than the patches shown for the 2008 silverado on Motortrend or a couple other sites. If so, Chevrolet needs to get a new color/computer photo/marketing specialist. Along that line of thought, the original picture on the Chevrolet site of Camaro IOM looked like mud. I really think they could use a (new) color/computer/photo expert in their marketing dept.

Enough mudslinging, If that is tangier orange, I would be soooo happy with it instead of, or in addition to, IOM. The requests for other oranges would dim considerably I believe

Since all that has been talked about is the color so far, I have another take on the pictures. I present to you all one of the main reasons the Camaro is heavy.

I don't think it's Tangier Orange....my 75 is Tangier Orange...here are some pics...

Still though, I can't see why GM would paint that cutaway car, a color they weren't prepared to offer....maybe Scott could chime in on this, and confirm a color?
