Yay or Nay?

Hi guys,

Been trying to get some red going with my car. I plan on painting the calipers red eitherway, but now I'm thinking of some stripping. I made a concept of what I want. What do you all think? Go for it? or no?

I'm stuck because the black is awesome, but I don't know if the red would make it better. =o Anyway, just some easy photoshop concepts...

x2 and maybe not even the calipers. Too bright for my liking...but I'm sure others will love it. You must be pretty fond of it, right? If you like it, go for it.

I would do the calipers and some hood sprears. Those stripes on the front ender look to much like a challenger in my opinion. The red at the bottom of the door looks nice also. i work with a guy that has a Black RS and he did the hood spears, and the bottom the doors in red, tail light bezels in red, gill inserts in red and the black bowties with the red outline. It looks really nice.

Thanks guys for the comments. Yeah, if I was really set on this, I would actually just go for it. But I wasn't too sure myself. Though it is vinyl, and i Could peel it off, I would rather be sure than to purchase it, and then throw it away lol.

Sorry about the photoshop, it's pretty crappy LOL... the Calipers would be a darker red... you know, red calipers. The way I blended the red on the image makes it look like neon red =p.

I was considering hood spears as well. I personally don't want to get the OEM rally stripes.. I think might be too much for a black car.

But thanks guys for the comments, i should have made a poll lol.

Hood spears, calipers (G2 paint), and lower it. That's what I would do.

Like you said...good thing with vinyl is that you can switch it up if you don't like it.

Black and red are my two favorite colors!

Hood spears and calipers also has my vote....clean and simple.

Definitely like the Calipers and the GS stripes, not feeling the door spear though.

Thanks for the ideas CyberLS. However, much like the rallystripes, i feel the reverse hockeystripes are too much for the black car. But, if i were to choose, i would like the hockeystripes that go the other way. Or is that one called the reverse hockeystripe? O_o..

Eitherway, it seems like no one likes the door spears, i guess those were a bad judgement on my part. The calipers are going red no matter what. So now it's just about the fender stripes...

Lowering, and new wheels will be later on. But I suspect those will also play into the looks quite a bit. =p

I would go red rally stripes black out your stock wheels but paint the bowtie on the wheels red and paint ur front and rear bowties red. Paint your tailight bezels black am tint your tailights. That would look awesome.
