OK here is my wish list/mod plan:
1) Engine enhancement, h/p in the 600 rwhp range and still warranty, yes I know I don't want much LOL.
2) Suspention upgrade, lowering springs, sway bars and poly bushings for even better handling on track days.
3) Brake upgrade, drilled and slotted rotors with extreme high street/track performance. Oh a question here, does the stock ZL1 need brake line upgrade??
4) Body upgrade, air extraction openings to front and rear wheel wells, cooling ducts for rear brakes.

Awesome, I'm hoping to put funds away and to be able to make an appointment to see you in the spring.

Just Remember it is not only tunes that can deny warranty repairs, everyone seems to think you can do anything you want except a tune break the car and get it warranted.

Ted.
I agree that other things can void warranties. However, I doubt a suspention upgrade will affect an engine claim. My concern is a powertrain issue while tracking.

I say be completely different and pull the supercharger off and add a pair of turbos. That would be unique and still deliver the boost in a more efficient matter.

Consider me a little biased

First on my list is a high speed money printing machine, so I can replace the money used to buy the car, and use it for mod's.......

I had a skip shift eliminator installed on my '10 SS. Will my new Z need one too?

Ted, was great meeting you at the fest (even though it was very brief)

I'm curious what those zl1 specific shorties will do on a ZL1 with nothing else but a tune... maybe that's something you could take a look at?

Yes if you never plan to tune otherwise I turn it off in the tune.

Ted, what about testing the limits of the engine, trans, clutch and rear end assemblies--ie., how much power can be added before the first likely failure? In other words, at what power level will upgrades be needed and which part first?
