How about power shifting? I'll try some 0-60s on the weekend.

It's around 40F and we're under 100 feet elevation.

I was using a HP TravelCompanion on my Pocket PC. It was at about 100' elevation, and 58 degrees (early morning).

I hope to be able to find the time to go to an 1/8 mile track next week to get some more reliable numbers.

I also just finished my intake!!!

I'll hopefully get pics up tomorrow!

I used the matrix 3 axis unit. I did 3 runs. Average time was 6.5 sec
I have a v6 rs,auto, ran in manual mode. stock engine. Conditions were, 80 deg. humidity 20%, elevation 2600ft.
I just ordered an airaid intake, x pipe, 2 mufflers and tips. When I get my items I will do another base line and then do a timed run on the cai and then the exhaust to see if there is any difference and post my findings.

Scrming.
Regarding the sensors for the stock air box. I can relate to your hot air findings. I did a couple runs this evening. First run, 72* out, (engine barely warmed up) I ran a 6.4 sec and the next two were around 6.7 and the intake tube by the sensors was very hot.

Looking forward to seeing your intake!

Ok... incredibly clear morning (high pressure - 30.3 inches) so I decided to make another 0-60 test... this one is closer to 60 MPH.. previous one was 60.9...

OK today is great weather to make some 0-60mph runs, these are the results:

Temp. 54-55 degs. = VERY GOOD
Humidity 53-55 %
Barometric pres. 30.19 = VERY GOOD
Elevation app. 350 ft.
Did four 0-60mph runs today: 5.31, 5.18, 5.17 & 5.13 = my best ever.
This was with my new MRT axle back exhaust.

My prior four 0-60 runs were : 5.30, 5.29, 5.26 & 5.23 But with those runs the Bar. pres. was 30.02, tem. & hum. about the same so, how much the exhaust did can't say 100% but maybe as much as .10 sec.(which is the diff. on the best 2 runs)

Very cool!!!

This morning the air was amazing... Barometric was 30.3 inches! I tried just a fairly hard take off with the traction control off and just spun the tire wildly! LOL!

Yes, the air was amazing...
BTW ...I always have the traction control ON. That way I get GREAT traction, only burns app.2-3 feet rubber.
(with the 19" tires )

Normally on dry pavement my big 20" RS tires don't spin... today I actually was spinning a bit with the traction control ON! The little "slippery when wet" icon was coming on! LOL!
