Cool make sure you change that oil, no telling if fuel got to it bud.

Id say 20-30hp.

I never got a baseline this time around. But when the car was bolt on it went from 409 rwhp untuned with full bolt ons to 430rwhp after tuning. I would think you would pick up at least that much plus another 10 or so being it is cammed with a smallish cam.

I would guess ~420rwhp right now and ~450rwhp after tune. But guessing dyno numbers is almost impossible...they all read differently.

The car will feel like a whole new animal though...the increase in throttle response/overall responsiveness etc will be huge.
Also, these cars have a lot of torque management and I even think some power is pulled on WOT shifts when stock. Your tuner will remove all of that (well most do...make sure they do). That will make a good bit of difference as well.

Dont worry...you will be impressed. Definitely worth the money for a proper tune.

Thanks man, I guess that is what I was looking to hear! Thats a big gain from your bolt-ons to tune, thats what I am hoping for is a solid gain across the bored. 1 more day

Got it. And never meant to imply otherwise. Since I didn't personally install a cam then run it on a dyno untuned to get a number and then dyno it again tuned - I was just offering my perspective that when it is all said and done and he has a bolt-on and cammed and tuned car he can expect somewhere in the 80 - 100 RWHP gain range over a stock LS3 depending on how big of a cam he chose. From my perspective thats all that mattered because I can't see anyone running around with a cammed car on a stock tune for long anyway.

Don't mistake the fumes from an injected car running without cats for running rich...I get very frustrated with people when I'm tuning their car, and they insist it's running too rich...when at full throttle any less fuel would be dangerously close to knock, and when at part throttle, the fuel trims are less than 2%, extremely stable, and timing is setup for the best efficiency and driveability...sometimes exhaust will just make your eyes burn, especially if the car is running in a small area.

I had one person piss me off so much with that, that I said "let me try one more thing", then I flashed the stock tune back into his car, handed him his money back, and said "since you know more than me, do it yourself"...he called me 2 days later and said "your tune ran so much better than the one I just had so and so do, will you re-tune it" and I said "nah".

I have no intensions on telling my tunner how to do anything, thtas for shure. He does a tun of ls stuff so iam not worried, all I will be asking him is to keep my idle as lopy as possible. I know some people want the idle smoothen out.

A good tune makes all the difference in the world.

My builder got a baseline tune from my tuner, so i could drive the car to the dyno the next day to finish the tune. First pull was 449 and final pul was 470. so i gained 21 hp from a Finalized tune. For that install i had CAI, Headers full 3" exhaust and a cam. With no tune at all...i would expect a decent amount more.
