No issues until oil leak discovered at 99,000 miles. Dealer replaced everything it could possibly be! Oil cooler gasket, oil pan gasket/t-joint, rear housing seal/rear seal, transmission pump seal. These repairs also got me a fresh oil change and trans fluid/filter change (at no charge)! All covered by powertrain warranty.

All completed in two days! You should have seen the pile of parts they took off the car to facilitate repairs! Exhaust, driveshaft(s), tranny, front cradle.... All reinstalled, with no rattles, squeaks or extra parts! My local dealer is the bomb!

In four years (born 11/11/10) and 45K the only problem I had was a pass. side door kick plate came loose. They replaced it. It looks like it is coming up again.

At 31K miles the magnetic button on the strap to hold the seat belt in place went missing.
Dealer replaced the seat cover under the bumper to bumper.
The car turns 3 years old in a month - no other warranty issues.

Once. Brand New long block at 35,510 miles 2011 2LT. Thrown bearing caused all kinds of problems. Put 15k miles on the new long block. Not one problem. Runs a million times better than the previous engine. Feels bullet proof.

Had a clunking sound when going over bumps. Dealer replaced front struts at 21.000 miles. At 31.000 miles I got a P0449 code but over 36 months. Not covered under emissions (80,000 Miles) warranty? Dealer quoted $750,00 to fix. One unhappy Camaro owner.
Been buying GM vehicles for over 25 years and always been happy with service. Oh well, should of known not to buy a first year model.

What are they replacing? You might be able to do it yourself and save a bunch.

power steering pump with 4000 miles and wheels repainted because the silver was turning black under the clear coat. they asked me what color id like them. Got carbon flash to match the rally stripes.

AC belt replaced within the first year.
Trunk latch replaced at 2 years/15,000 miles.
Oil cooler coolant fitting in block cross threaded. Threads in block repaired and fitting replaced at 2 years/15,000 miles.

Car is a little over 4 years old with 25,000 miles and no other problems.

Figure I would update this thread if anyone has had similar issues they can chime in.

10/12/2009 -- Purchased 2010 Chevrolet Camaro 1LT (automatic)
GM Protection Plan - 818137073 -- Expires on 10/12/2014 or at 90,008 Miles

Below is the list of times I've had to get my car serviced, with the in and outbound date with description of the reason.

Code:
     in      |     out    | description
  -----------+------------+------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  02/17/2010 | 02/17/2010 | Rear diff leaking
  10/18/2010 | 10/20/2010 | Driver window issue (motor shorted)
  08/01/2011 | 08/02/2011 | Rear diff leaking, replaced seal
  08/09/2011 | 08/10/2011 | Windshield came back cracked after service, good faith we split the cost of a non oem replacement
  10/31/2011 | 10/31/2011 | Driverside fog lamp went out
* 07/28/2012 | 07/30/2012 | Transmission issue, car stuck in 2nd gear
                          | found code P2724 #5 Pressure Control Sol, cleared code.. seemed to have fixed itself
* 07/30/2012 | 08/03/2012 | Took car in for transmission issue, car stuck in 2nd gear
                          | REPLACE TCM/SOL.S AND REPROGRAM-CODE-187A7 AND REPLACE VALVE
* 10/05/2012 | 10/12/2012 | Transmission issue, car stuck in 2nd gear
                          | REPLACE VALVE BODY UPPER AND LOWER
  03/04/2013 | 03/07/2013 | Rear diff leaking, REPLACED THE RIGHT REAR AXLE SEAL

* 06/09/2015 | 07/23/2015 | Transmission issue, transmission randomly locking up (76,471 miles) and Rear Turn Signal out
                          | INPUT CARRIER THRUSH BEARING COMING APART AND TEETH ON GEARS CHEWED UP AND 4-5-6 HOUSING ALSO CHEWED UP
  06/17/2015 | ---------- | Car hit at dealership by cleaning personal - prior to any transmission work being performed
  07/02/2015 | 07/18/2015 | REPLACED REAR BUMPER AND LOWER VALANCE, REPAIR RT QTR
  07/28/2015 | 08/12/2015 | Body work fixes (decals installed inversely)

  03/04/2016 | 03/04/2016 | Code P0430 - INSTALLED UPDATED L/H CAT WITH GASKETS
* 06/29/2016 | 07/??/2016 | Transmission issue, car stuck in 2nd gear
The dealership let me know that this time it is a Input thrust bearing that came lose. Because this is a different part so not covered under previous work... even though they rebuilt the transmission. After replacing the parts (valve body/tcm/bearing/putting it back together) they realize the reverse gear doesnt work and would have to take the transmission apart again. They are ordering parts to replace the 3-5 reverse housing and valve body again.. they will overnight parts and plan to have the car ready by Friday (7/29/2016). Which means they will have my car for 1 month this time around... pretty sure my Camaro is cursed. I had my 98 mustang for 12 years and did 170k miles on it before I had transmission issues -- and that was my highschool car that I ragged the hell out of. :(
