I think it would be a good thing for GM to bring back the Z28. However it will probably be priced like Fords GT 500 which to most people, not all but most people is to expensive and not practical. Furthermore with the SS at 400 to 425 horses at the flywheel. You just pay the money for the best supercharger or turbo or turbos do some cam work and some bolt ons and basically you have more power or equal to the proposed Z28 anyways for less money. They are going to make plenty of money off of the Camaros they are selling now anyways.

Z28-- well since this is speculation-I think it would be cool.

It will all depend on the market for sure...will this car be too expensive for GM to make and/or will they have only very limited quantities if it actually comes to pass? Realistically, how many 550+ horses sell these days? with the huge sticker $ that goes along with it? and gas mileage?

All in all, a true super car if it does actually happen to get produced.

mmm, im diggin a stinger hood on the Z/28

At this point im 99% sure the Z28 will see the roads again, with so much hype in the Camaro its impossible to resist the sales temptations, and the rep, i mean you may get bad rep for making a "gas guzzler" (god i hate that quote, when Nissans get worse mileage than our V8s regularly on V6s alone) but the rep for having this amazing super performance car would totally overshadow that in the eyes of the public, i mean the SS Camaro was thought to be a bad idea and now everyone's 100% behind it, i firmly believe it will be the same with the Z/28

btw, i would totally buy a super-Camaro over a base model Corvette personally

Don't go selling your SS's now. The program is back on schedule...but it IS going to take a while.

I already see a few posts regarding time and $$$ that seem to be pretty much spot on (if I were a guessing man.

Anybody want to buy a VR SS with RS package and auto? I'll take my Z-28 in HUGGER ORANGE and upgraded interior. Note to GM:do not make in IOM,bring back hugger orange!
