Glad you are OK and that your Camaro will be as good as new...

A couple of things:

Deer Whistles do not work - I say this because we tried them at Milford many years ago - and they don't work.

The chemicals in the airbag are how they inflate so quickly - it's a chemical reaction....and yes, it can be irritating.

The Camaro team has worked long and hard to make this new Camaro as safe as possible.

Yea, a buddy of mine plowed a cow with a new Range Rover. The thing was totalled. I can't imagine what a cow would do to a Camaro.

moo-tilate it?

No cows or deer over here, just illegal immigrant landscapers that have trouble crossing the street.

Happened to me last night. Many pointed large buck body checked me. Pushed the car to the side, front to back crushed. Crazy. All I saw was antlers top of window/roof suddenly to my left and then sickening thud. Pictures when I have the stomach to check it in daylight :(.

Solid car, glad it wasn’t worse!

Just be glad you don’t have elk to worry about. They do a lot more than 5k normally. Hope you get your car fixed and back on the road soon.

Thankfully the ABS saved the front of my SS from looking like that just the other night! Giant forest rats.

Almost a year ago, I sent a doe into outer space doing about 60 mph. She caused almost $7000 worth of damage. Right front grill and her head whipped around to crush my right front fender. Not a single airbag went off. Luckily I had good insurance and a body shop that understood when I said no body filler and only GM parts. Heck, they even paid for my AFCO heat exchanger to be replaced. Still sux and it's never quite the same.

Thats my biggest concern with my car. Coyotes are pushing the deer into residential settings increasing the morning road crossings. I'm not driving it yet but I'm already worried. They have already been rooting around in my garden spot looking for leftovers from last year.

This thread was a blast from the past. I wonder how many of the OP's still have a Camaro? From my cold, dead hands!
