Well, I had some codes pop up today and went to check to see what they were.. and it’s the common evap solenoid issue that I see others have had with their Camaros. I have a 2011 Camaro SS and was wondering how to repair solenoid.

Codes: P0449 & P0455

After doing some research online, I saw one location being in the rear behind fuel tank and other location being near the engine.

Thank you..

The vent solenoid is back by the tank. The purge solenoid is in the engine bay. It's fixed by replacement.

parts aren't too expensive, though unlikely they both failed at the exact same time. You can test the purge under the hood easily, see if it's getting stuck open/closed and check the vacuum to it. or just change it and reset the computer, if it comes back you need the vent which is a pain to get to
