Maestro RR2 vs RR for Kit-Cam1
I'm in the process of purchasing a Kit-Cam1 just picked up a new w8500NEX for $699
I was wondering if anyone knows if both RR2 and RR1 are both compatible with a 2010 Camaro? And if there is really any point in purchasing the RR2 over RR1? |

I think the main upgrade in the RR2 is the ability to program via bluetooth. With the RR, if you want to reprogram it while it is in the dash, it requires physical access to the RR port to plug in a cable, or you need to leave a cable in the dash to access it. and then it still requires the RR to be disconnected so you have to disconnect the car battery to trick the unit into thinking it's disconnected from the car. Pretty sure both are compatible, I was planning to get the RR2 for my zl1, running the RR in my FJ Cruiser.

I looked at the options and compared them, I choose the rr2 but cant really remember the differences.
my main concern was running the k40 radar/laser integration.....cant even remember if the rr could or not. guess I'm not much help lol |
