Ultimate Motor X group buy here on C5. Made by VIS. Its the VIPER. It is paintabl & was my intention. After seeing hood in the sun, the carbon fiber is gaining my favor. It is bad ass looking in the sun. I have quick-latch low profile hood pins to install soon. Quality is top notch. Took all of 30 minutes to install. Sorry for slow response to posts & thanks for feedback.

Talked to dealership today. Going to paint ABM with scoop jet black. Getting a grim reaper painted on top. Going to live with carbon fiber till it warms up.

Nice choice on the hood. I don't think you will regret painting it. Painted my CF hood too. Looks great from a few feet away and then when you are up on it you can really see the CF… Looks awesome

Getting new front bumber painted this week. Will try & get hood done before April. I liked this hood because the scoop width & not real high. Too high in Va = ticket.

Had to replace the battery on my baby, dealer I bought it from told me $189.99, Pulled out battery and was driving to dealer, decided to stop by the one that was closer to my house. He only charged me $149.99 for the same battery. So Dan Wolf in Naperville was going to charge me $189.99 for the same battery I got from Ron Westphal in Oswego for $149.99. Guess I be buying all my parts from him.
