Today I was driving my Camaro on a four lane road and while looking in my rear-view mirror I saw a Jeep Cherokee hauling through traffic toward me. My first thought was this person was obviously in a rush but I could see that they were trying pretty hard to get in the lane next to me. Generally this is a sign of some punk that wants to race or has something negative to say about my car so as I stopped at a red light I waited for the Jeep to pull up next to me to take my daily dose of jack ass. Well the Jeep with veteran plates finally got next to me and the driver stuck his head out the window to get my attention. "I just had to catch up to you and tell you that you have the nicest one of those I've seen so far!" were his words, completely the opposite of what I was expecting! Just like any other Camaro owner I get loads of compliments about my car but I've never had someone barge through traffic just to tell me that, it made my day for sure!

I know this is far from the most interesting story posted on here, but I'm just curious, has anyone else had someone follow you after they saw your Camaro just to tell you how much they love/hate it?

Thanks! I was debating actually making this thread because Camaros and compliments are very common together, but I thought it was an interesting scenario

Haha, understandable! If I saw someone following me like that on an empty back road I'd jump it too!

I love compliments like that, I always try to return the favor if the other person is driving something they obviously love having too. :]

Although like you I do always prepare for the "daily dose of jackass"... I anticipate the "lets race brah"

It happens to me a few times a week. I also get plenty of thumbs up. It's a head turner for sure!

You are from Portsmouth as well? I drive through it every day, I don't think I've ever seen your Camaro before!
