Got a 133mph ticket on a 70 mph...

Need a good lawyer.

Any recommendations?

And you didn't get put in jail and have your car towed & impounded. N.Y. automatic surrender of your license for 2 yrs 25 mph over speed limit. Jail time $2000 fine plus court costs 4 reckless driving. But that is N.Y. not sure about Texas.

I got caught at 126 on an interstate highway.(Back when I was a teen) I drove away from that too. I got super lucky that it was a local town PD and not highway patrol and said he couldn't give me a ticket. He was mad as hell tho. Verbal warning only. I would do some research for your area regarding lawyers, you may find someone with experience.

That sucks. Your probably going to get raked over by the ,take it to the track guys and they are right ,but most of us have "tested"our rides on public rds and most don't get caught. Yes get a laywer maybe he can at least get the end result dropped down for u. I got a radar detector and it helps lots.i am older so I don't drive to fast anymore but I like to have it as it usually helps Me know when the police are around Good luck

You're not describing exactly what kind of ticket you got? 63 mph over usually gets an "Exhibition of speed" ticket, or maybe a "Wreckless Driving" ticket. As others have mentioned, you'll probably need a lawyer.

Just to throw this out their. You may try one of those big rig lawyers.
I drive truck and got a ticket for being over weight on a hwy. it was not a cheap ticket but I got a lawyer for traffic fines, I never met him but he went to court for me and knocked it down to a broken tail light on my trailer. I paid 375 for his service but no ticket on my record. Like I said it's worth a try n calling one of those guys. Good luck

133 mph on a straight away back road. Cop coming on opposite lane and got me. No reckless or exhibition of speed.
