Good job man

Defiantly the Mod of the Year, maybe the mod of the generation.

That is an absolutely beautiful car, the white stripes look great and the quality of the hood, especially the under-hood bracing, is amazing.

Just curious, if you are willing to say, what was the final price tag for it?

For everything, i.e., metal fabrication, designing a base for the shaker to mount on top of the Magnuson Heartbeat, modifying and rebuilding a metal aftermarket OEM-style hood, painting the hood and the shaker, and prepping and painting a GM dovetail spoiler, approximately $8K. Not cheap by any means, but I do not posses any fabrication or paint and body skills so I had no choice.

Wow... Absolutely beautiful car! The shaker looks amazing. They did an awesome job fabricating that.

$8000 is a lot but if you're happy with it then it's worth it. Especially for the best mod I've seen for a 5th Gen.

I understand in order to save money, you used an aftermarket metal hood instead of a new aluminum one, but wouldn’t an OEM aluminum hood from a scrap yard, been easier to cut and just as cheap to buy?

The aluminum hood cuts like buttaa.

The body shop/fabricators told me it would be easier for them to work with metal, rather than aluminum.

I have a dash cam clip of the shaker in action, but apparently this site won't accept the video file; any suggestions?

Ya know, it's funny - (I swear) I tried pasting the URL into a post and a blank box came up. No matter; I appreciate it greatly.
