Really..? Thank you . You pleasantly surprised me. I'm still playing with the idea of a 3 "SW retro chambered, but instead of the X-pipe with which this set comes, I remake this to an old school H-pipe.

Yep, you are welcome my friend!! Yea the "H" gives it a more deeper tone whereas the "X" gives it a more raspier tone. One of my friends here has a 2013 ZL1 and he has the SW Retro chambered on there and boy is it loud! But it also sounds good too. Happy Holidays!!

Looks like you saved me more than $ 1,000
I'll probably leave the existing exhaust there

Happy Holidays too...

Yes ... Of course I saw it

Just the sound inspires a lot of respect!
And burnout.... it's a very biting car

Very cool. Thanks sir. Yea I just listened to your exhaust vid again, and I do have to say it ranks right up there with some of the expensive after market ones out there for sure!! If you do go with an "H" pipe, it might make it a little deeper sounding, old school style. But yea, she sounds great, and not toooo loud either, just right. I'm looking tp quiet mine down a bit as it gets obnoxiously loud at WOT, but then again, might just leave her alone cause everyone loves it...

It is true that you can drive across the state with your car and the noise does not bother you in any way.
But I admit that the mufflers are a bit modified. They were noisier.
They were opened and stuffed with fiberglass. And this created a dbsorbic muffler. But the flow of exhaust gases did not decrease in any way.

I like your QTP for sharper sound.
But when I see the airbags flying for no reason, so I hesitate.

Wow, you customized your mufflers?? That's awesome!! No wonder it sounds so good. And that vid of the air bags going off on that ZL1, that car was a gutted out interior and caged camaro for racing and he was going well over the legal speed limit, plus he had the NOWEEDS on there and not the QTP's. The NOWEEDS have the exit of the pipes directly over where the sensors are but the QTP's are more towards the center of the car and away from the sensors. I have had my Camaro up over 100mph with them open, and have had her tached up to 7400 many times with them open and so far no problems. Plus my friend on the forum, Chris runs his Camaro with open headers all the time at the track with no issues.

Thank you for the compliment. But basically was done what Pypes came up with a long time ago and I have it on my 78.

I have respect for that. Exploding airbags are not at 5 gen. so rare.

But even so, it will probably be my next mod

Once again, I gotta say your camaro sounds way better than the Pontiac on the vid! And for that airbag deploy, I could see that coming with a stock camaro going around in a circle and accelerating, slowing and the body flexing because it wasn't set up to do all that, the sensors did their job thinking there might have been a side impact, even though there wasn't. Our 5th gens were not made to do all that without the proper mods to "stiffen" up the car and make sure that doesn't happen. Cheers brother!!

Okay, you persuaded me, I'll stay with the existing exhaust system

This twisting was one of the reasons for installing the strut tower brace.
Camaro 5 has a lot of ideas for improvement.
That's what I just enjoy about those cars!

Cheers bro
