This happened to me the first time I filled up. I was on dead empty, started the pump, filled it up, shut off at $40 and I thought nice. Then I started my car up and it was only 3/4 filled, lol. Only time it happened.

Same problem here in NCAL. I drove through 7 states last summer and did not have that problem until I got back home.

Every now and then I find a pump that holds but it is rare for me.
